April Swap list, a giveaway and other exciting news from our sponsors

Hi all,

I sent out the April list earlier today.  Please review who you are giving to and receiving from on both the swap list and the member list and let me know asap if there are any problems.

We are saying good-bye to three swappers this month.  Melody, Lorraine and Natasha, thanks for participating and we will miss you!

We have two new swappers to welcome!!  Diane from New Jersey, USA and Geraldine from Northampton, England.

There are three spots available in the swap.  Please pass this on to anyone you know who might want to join.

Our very own Joanne from Possom Blossom Patchwork is offering a giveaway to one of our swappers this month.  Joanne is situated in Australia and runs an on-line business selling EPP papers in a variety of shapes and sizes as well as precut fabric hexagons.   Joanne will also cut fabric into hexagons to order. And she also sells quilting fridge magnets. :)

The lucky winner will receive a 100 pack of hexagon die-cut papers or die-cut card - winner's choice.  Joanne will ship anywhere.

To enter please go to Joanne's store and check it out.  Then come back and let us know which of her precut small fabric hexagons you like best.  I will close the giveaway on April 7th at noon Pacific Daylight Time.

In other exciting news Paper Pieces has agreed to become a sponsor of the blog.  Paper Pieces is situated in the US and the on-line store offers EPP acrylic templates and paper pieces in a wide variety of shapes and sizes as well as EPP books and patterns.

Jessica is offering members of this swap 20% off in the store, valid on the entire shopping cart but DOES NOT INCLUDE SHIPPING.  If you wish to purchase from Paper Pieces you will need to contact me for the coupon code.  As it is for members of this swap only, please do not share the code with others.

Hopefully this is enough excitement to keep us all going for the month of April!!

  1. Hi Jane, thank you for the April lists and the opportunity to enter the giveaway, I love Papillion by 3 Sisters.
    Cheers R.

  2. Good Morning - I am so thrilled to now be included in the swap :) I love the California Girl hexies by Fig Tree Quilts over at Possum Blossom. Thanks for all you do Janet to keep this swap up and running :)
    Smiles, DianeM in NJ

  3. Thanks to Joanne for the giveaway - what a great opportunity. I buy my cards from her already and I love them.

As for my favourite fabric hexagons... I promise I did scroll down and look at them all, but my favourites are at the top! It's a tough call between Trade Winds - I love those little tea cups and the florals, Serenade - I always love Kate's work and Papillion because I can see some of those pinks looking great in my cherry blossom theme.

Can I still get an entry if I picked three favourites?? LOL

  4. I like Circa 1934 fabric hexagons. Thanks for the opportunity to win the giveaway and thanks, Janet, for your organizational skills with the "Inchy Hexagon Flower Swap." Know that you are appreciated.

  5. I love Bonnie and Camille's "Marmalade"!

  6. What do we say when we see Moda Fabrics? Oh My, Oh My!
    So.... that´s my choice!

  7. I liked the Strawberry Fields die-cuts. What a fun give away!!

  8. My favorite is Clermont Farm.

  9. I love the Papillon by 3 sisters.

  10. I loved them all, but if I had to choose just one it would be Salt Air.

  11. I feel bad that I missed the give away. I do look at the blog--it's on my reader so I do look at every new post. I think I glanced at the title and stopped at April Swap List. I had looked at the list and got my info. I just didn't read on!
Please let's do more give a ways--I would give something! Maybe when you announce a give away give it it's own blog post?? Most of the time my brain is on overload and I only see what is listed first.
Thanks for all you do to keep us on track. I would love the code for Paper Pieces, I order there often and am in need of more supplies. Thanks again.
